Not only do we use a powerful Rotary cleaner that can use either high pressure washing or low pressure , high steam cleaning for those difficult or sensitive areas, we also cleanse the area with a Bio Soft wash solution. This brings a shine to Block paving and will also remove BLACKSPOT, the hardest lichen for anyone to remove.
With some soft stone like Sandstone or Limestone constant jet spraying will damage the Aggregate and make the stone more porous therefore making it more prone to Lichen and Blackspot, we can actually clean these areas with Softwash only, call for more information.
Block paving tends to attract moss and weeds. The sand in the joints can eventually migrate and, over time, can lead to sinking and permanent damage to your installation.
These types of surfaces can be cleaned, treated and restored using flat surface water pressure and various specialist chemicals to suit each style.
Pressure Washing Driveways:
We apply an approved chemical wash to kill off the weeds/ moss and spores, then we use a specialist surface cleaner with a rotary washer head used at ground level and used in conjunction with our pressure/steam cleaning unit. The surface cleaner skirt contains any over spray and directs the water flow more precisely to the surface being cleaned. We have a boiler on our system so can use hot water or steam to clean at a lower pressure if needed depending on what we decide the best course of action is for any particular surface.
Driveway Re-Sanding
After pressure washing if required, we can re-sand driveways with kiln-dried sand. If not re-sanded you may risk the blocks moving around, which can cause the driveway to become uneven and could sink in areas.
